We’re proud to share that Halight has been named toTraining Industry’s 2026 Experiential Learning Technologies Watch List, recognizing our continued work to create learning experiences that move beyond content consumption toward active participation, practice and measurable improvement.
Training Industry’s annual Experiential Learning Technologies lists recognize providers helping learners build knowledge and skills through hands-on experiences, including simulations, serious games and other immersive learning technologies.
For Halight, this recognition reflects a direction we’ve been building toward for some time: learning shouldn’t stop at completion.
From learning to doing
Traditional learning platforms are very good at answering questions like: Did someone take the course? Did they complete it? Did they pass the assessment?
Those metrics matter—but they only tell part of the story.
At Halight, we’re increasingly focused on the next question: What can the learner actually do?
Our learning ecosystem is designed to move people from simply consuming information to actively participating in their development. Halight brings together learning, gamification, games, challenges, live experiences, rewards and ongoing engagement to create experiences learners actually want to participate in.
And with CoachOnCue, we’re taking that philosophy further.
CoachOnCue gives learners a safe environment to practice real-world situations through AI-powered simulations. Learners can navigate realistic conversations, receive personalized feedback on their performance and try again—turning learning into a continuous cycle of practice, feedback, retry and improvement.
That means organizations can begin looking beyond whether someone completed training toward whether they can confidently apply what they’ve learned when it matters.
Experiential learning that delivers measurable outcomes
The impact of this approach is already showing up in the programs we deliver.
In a recent program with a client in the gaming space, retail sales associates used CoachOnCue to practice realistic customer conversations, including product recommendations and competitive selling scenarios. Among learners who retried the simulations, 93.5% improved their performance.
For another client in telecom, Halight brought together learning, custom games, progression and rewards in a 14-day experiential event. During event periods, content completions increased 307%, time spent increased 92% and unique users increased 67%—with engagement remaining above baseline even after the events ended.
Different experiences. Different objectives. The same idea: create learning people want to participate in, then turn that participation into meaningful outcomes.
What’s next: From completion to competency
This recognition comes at an exciting time for Halight as we continue investing in the next evolution of our platform.
Our roadmap is increasingly centered around structured, observable, role-relevant competency—capturing meaningful signals as learners complete learning, practice skills and take action within the platform.
Because completion tells you a learner showed up. Competency tells you what they can actually do.
Over the coming months, we’ll continue investing in AI-powered simulation, personalized coaching, competency measurement and performance insights, while connecting these capabilities more deeply across the Halight learning ecosystem.
We’re also continuing to learn from the people who use Halight every day. Client feedback, learner paths, engagement and completion trends, support inquiries and overall platform activity all help us understand what learners need next—and where technology can create a better experience or stronger outcome.
A recognition of where we’re headed
Being named to Training Industry’s Experiential Learning Technologies Watch List is an exciting recognition of the work our team and clients are doing together—and of the direction we believe learning technology needs to go.
We believe the future of learning is about more than delivering information. It’s about creating opportunities for people to engage, practice, build confidence, demonstrate capability and continue improving.
We’re proud to be recognized among the companies helping move that future forward—and even more excited about what comes next.
See how Halight can turn learning into practice, confidence and measurable performance.
