Here are just a few ways HALIGHT plans to grow in the New Year to better help our clients, whether they are existing clients who want to expand their training strategies or new clients who are dipping their toes into the pool of eLearning and virtual events. Last year we introduced a ton of new ways for our clients to connect to us. These platforms, including our podcast, social media, and blogs, also allow us to spread the word on new industry trends and strategies. HALIGHT continues to adopt new and innovative training solutions to meet the needs of an evolving industry, and we want to share them with you!

HALIGHT wants to be a reliable source of information by shedding light on hot topics and answering your burning questions. Our podcast, If You Build It, Will They Learn? explores an array of topics in greater depth than we may get the opportunity to engage with in our day-to-day conversations with clients. Our blogs (You’re already here!) delve into new trends, how we execute and deploy learning strategies, and the people behind the scenes here at HALIGHT. Our Client Success Liaisons (CSLs) are dedicated individuals for your unique needs. CSLs bring your vision to reality. They will work with you personally and coordinate with our internal teams to get the job done.
We are shifting our focus slightly to better serve our clients for the long-term. Our CS team will work with you to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including short-term and long-term goals. We will also establish measurables to constantly evaluate to achieve these KPIs. We consistently analyze our productions internally. That way, we can use data analytics to enrich your training and development strategies with proven metrics. For instance, we can measure how much user engagement increases using specific components and deployments. In this way, we use behaviours and user experiences to drive forward-thinking innovation and enhancements. We’re in it for the long haul, and we want to bring you with us. Don’t worry, we’ll bring the snacks. CSLs also help ensure we are meeting the efficiency needs of our clients. They can give you the best option for your unique needs and circumstances.
Industries around the world have explored the use of AR and VR in training for some time now. AR and VR can be used to enhance hands-on and technical skills. In a virtual setting, learners can put theory into practice, ultimately saving the cost of training materials and offering a safer training environment. After all, virtual hammers don’t hurt as much as real ones.
HALIGHT continues to innovate new training solutions that best engage and inform learners. These new innovations are developed in what we call The Mine, where the best gems are found. This year, we plan on continuing our strategic development and deployment of AR and VR.
Scrap the mail-in RSVP letters, table décor, and misspelled nametags — we built our own completely live event app in 2018 called Terra. Organizations have and (when safe to do so) will continue to utilize a totally custom branded and developed app to enhance their live conferences.
HALIGHT’s direction for Terra pivoted to meet the growing need for virtual solutions. Now, Terra runs entirely virtual conferences with gamification, breakout rooms, networking, and so much more. HALIGHT can fully manage Terra to take a load off your plate. Alternatively, organizations can choose a self-service platform. In 2021, Terra will continue to evolve to better serve specific use cases and expand on its already rich portfolio of features and services. We continually evaluate and improve each aspect of the platform as the interest and demand for virtual events skyrockets.
My Retail Training is now live to connect and engage retail learners across a network of organizations.
While there is still a level of uncertainty for retail in 2021, the support from our Client Success team ensures that our clients continue to grow their online training presence, including on My Retail Training. This way, retail associates can continue to grow their knowledge and skill base even remotely. HALIGHT will also launch exclusive internally developed training content to train learners in necessary retail and customer service skills that will improve their performance and drive their motivation.
We have seen a need for training that serves as a reference tool for learners and delivers bite-sized information for very specific topics. This training would also have to be incredibly efficient, cost-effective, and rapidly developed.
Get training – in a flash! In 2021, we’re introducing a BRAND-NEW way to bring bite-sized learning and quick training tidbits to your learners. Training Flashes are even shorter in length than micro eLearning and hone in on one specific topic. Have an update for an existing product or a new game for a popular console? Let your learners in on the details without going through redundant information they may already know. Best of all, these training moments can also be used as sales tools during interactions with customers to highlight key features! Utilizing Training Flash helps keep your learners up to date without dedicating more time than necessary.
